It is what it is, a premier inn, but the pleasant surprise is most the staff ate Eastern European and very helpful, smiling, pleasant, exelent stop in a comfortable room at a great price.
Surprised at how impressed I was. The Boxing Day menu was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful. We have severe food allergy issues to deal with and they were well prepared, well informed and happy to help. Thank you!
Rooms are newly refurbished and standard Premier Inn quality - most rooms have showers though a few have baths if that's important. restaurant has recently changed breakfast hours to be a little more restrictive - 8:30am i think they said though the food is somewhat unpleasant anyway so my recommendation is to save yourself the 8.99 and get breakfast somewhere else.
Good location for the airport which is a lot cheaper than the airport hotels. Unusually for a Premier Inn, it isnt linked to the neighbouring pub to serve you breakfast. It is a Harvester so is OK for an evening meal but doesnt open until 8 am for breakfast. The hotel would get a full 5 stars if it wasnt for this situation. Otherwise it is very clean and comfortable and I would recommend it.
