Really nice place and perfect for plane fans to watch them. Also souvenir shop is right there and very helpful staff on parking. Small playground for kids not to get bored while waiting for next plane. Ideal place to spend time with joy

Absolutely love watching the planes arriving and departing. We had chance for a coffee before joining the tour of Concorde. Very informative. Then we were back to watching the planes. We had lunch at the airport on this occasion then back to watching planes again. It was a very cold, windy day but we still spent approximately three hours there. We witnessed some 'turn arounds' which left us in awe of the pilots' skills in either ascending or descending safely. This was my third visit; twice on Concorde. We were an all female party; three women and a 12 year old.We would all visit again.

Wonderful place for plane spotting. You can stay all day, bring a picnic. The kids will love it. Loads for them to do. The aviation shop is brilliant, sells everything. The views of the airfield are incredible. One of the best places in Britain

A good place to watch at the airport. Located by the inbound taxiway you get good views as the planes taxi to the terminals. The perfect spot for watching the take offs. Parking is available on site or you can park at the romper pub and take a 10 minute or so walk down.

This was only supposed to be a quick way to kill an hour on our way back from somewhere else, but wow, my 2 year old little girl loved it, she couldn't get enough of the planes taking off, especially the massive Emirates plane, that is an amazing sight, as this hulking big thing seems to trundle down the runway then somehow lifts effortlessly into the sky. She also loved the planes coming in as most of the pilots have a quick wave as they taxied past. We had a walk around the shop which had to be cut short as the little one was doing her best to rearrange the gifts lol. Went on board one of the show planes and although I don't think she really got what it was, she couldn't stop running up and down and shouting wow, so overall a huge hit!
