We had a bad experience with Shaz, and feel we should say to protect the vulnerable. Having moved house earlier that year, in Nov the boiler started to make a noise, so booked Shaz in for a service and to find out the problem. He said we were lucky to be alive as the boiler was about to fall off the wall, it was 13 years old, and had many problems, he didn't bring in a tool box to do the service and was pushing for us to book in for a new one on a credit card for 2000 and talked of condemning it. My hubby told some on at work whose friend deals in boilers, on his review it needed only a service, a new longer screw to secure it and a valve costing just over 200.00 we also called the boiler company with the code and found out ours was 5/6 years old and top of the range boiler for the size of our house. When we confronted Shaz for an explanation he was aggressive and wouldn't explain why his findings were so different, and why we paid him for a service when he didn't bring in a tool box but only a screw driver. I'd like to think this is a one off, but also wouldn't feel right if we didn't say and hear he'd done this to a elderly person too. Richard and Anles
