Lovely little theatre. Refurbished to a high quality lovely little sofa's and individual luxury seating. Each with a holder or little table for a drink. The bathrooms are art deco in black and white. The ladies could do with some locks on them though. Overall a pleasant experience
So pleased The Rex has opened, my new go to cinema. Local, small with lovely decor and friendly staff. We sat in a sofa for two but all the seats looked comfortable with a good view of the screen. Enjoyed my first visit.
This place is fantastic... you get the retro charm of a bygone age of cinema with the latest screenings and state of the art sound and screen! The owners have done a fantastic job bringing this cinema back to life and how lovely for Wilmslow.We are members of The Savoy in Heaton Moor and the infrastructure of local bars and eateries that have appeared since opening The Savoy has been brilliant.I am truly confident the same will happen with the RexGo you will have a fantastic time.......as for the people who have said they prefer the multiplex, well in life...metaphor pending :-) some people like hamburgers some prefer steak.I will stick with steak.
Went to see A Star is Born lovely experience sound and picture better than Trafford Centre. Great price too. Positive feedback for you would like a bit more signage on where to go to get tickets was a bit confused. Well Done will be visiting a lot. Good Luck for the future xxx.... LOVED IT!
Fantastic night for the (re) opening of the Rex Cinema. Saw my first film here when I was 4 (Jungle Book!) and it has been restored brilliantly with two screens and great art deco style. What an amazing asset to Wilmslow. Ticket prices are reasonable and the toilets were stylish and very clean. Well done everyone and thank you for bringing back to life a fantastic community asset.
