Waking a round Wilmslow you see plenty of jewellery shops, but I get the impression the jewellery isn't really made on the premises, unlike Wentworth Jewels. Peter is a superb, professional jewellery maker whose warm personality and professionalism led me to commission my wife's wedding ring from him. Like others who have left reviews here Peter was happy for me to be involved in the actual making of the ring, creating not only an absolutely unique piece but one that was shaped by my very own hands. How romantic is that! Anyone can walk into a shop and buy something over the counter, but If you want something that is truly personal for the one you love and is from the heart then I can't recommend Peter enough.
Awful shady service don't go
I can't recommend Wentworth Jewels and Peter enough. We decided to have our wedding bands made as we wanted something unique and personal. After an initial consultation and before starting to make the actual rings we both wore a trial mock up ring in silver for a week to decide if we were happy with the shape and size of the design. Peter then offered an amazing service in which we both went into his workshop and helped bend the rings into shape, this included a small photoshoot for our wedding album. We are both so happy with our finished Wedding rings and the exceptional customer experience and aftercare we received. Thank you so much Wentworth Jewels.We both had our rings resized several times and had both rings engraved which was all free of charge as it was part of the service. It was a pleasure working with Peter on creating our beautiful rings, and we will be definitely be using him again. Many thanks Steven and Samantha Xx
Approach with CautionMade a appointment to go in and see some diamonds after having spoken over email and phone. Was told he had a few diamonds that met my criteria of what I was looking for. After booking half a days holiday to go and see them. I was very disappointed with the quality. After pressing him to see the GIA certificate I found out that the fluorescence levels where extremely high - and his response was you will only notice it if you go clubbing. On further review the diamond wasn't what he proposed it to be. When I questioned him he just said for your budget this is what you can afford. When I challenged him and told him I had other quotes he implied I was lying. If you are going to buy stones from him make sure you see the Certificate
So, so upset when peter wentworth damaged my precious diamond. He didn't even apologise!
