We love the outdoors, often visiting the beach and going on hikes, but also going to indoor pools regularly. So we are always on the lookout for kit that makes our lives easier when were out and about on an adventure. Weve had hooded towels before to help with changing and convenience, but with open sides and short lengths, they arent really suitable for the breezy UK outdoors - and certainly not for protecting your modesty - and then we spotted these fab robes from Booicore.I picked up an adult and child size changing robe/towel, which looked like they could make things a lot more comfortable for us. My daughter is a tall 7, so the 7-10 size was perfect for her in her favourite blue, stretching to ankle length, with a nice elbow sleeve length to take off the chill. The hood wraps fully around the front of the neck meaning it stays up when you need it to - unlike some which arent deep enough to stay on the head. The sizing is generous, to allow you to manoeuvre under the robe when changing. The nice touch was the pocket / hand warmer - she loves it. Although I must remember to check whats in it before popping it into the wash!Obviously I had to get satanic red, not just because the name made me smile, but the colour was really rich and looks great. Im pretty self-conscious about getting dressed in public so this will now completely eliminate any possibility I might show off a bit too much of myself, which is reassuring! Most of all its snug cotton towelling, and feels soft and warm.As were going abroad in the summer these are going to be our go-to items for beach days - and I know will also be used a lot when we go on our mountain hikes and beach trips when visiting the grandparents at their Welsh seaside home! Not only that, its perfect for when we get the paddling pool outside in the garden, for just chucking over her swimming costume in-between dips in the water. A really versatile item and great quality too.
I bought a booicore robe for my son recently and it has been my best purchase yet! Perfect for his swimming lesson as he can pop his googles, swimming hat and shower gel in the front pocket, and it is so easy to get on and off. Great for holidays too, and it washes well. A great buy definitely!
