Beautiful warm n friendly
A lovely old church situated on land saturated with history predating it. There is said to be an old tunnel leading from the church to one of the old buildings near it. Sadly the church yard has been attacked several times by verminous youth so the old Victorian graveyard has looked better.I very much enjoy the sound of the bells,a rare sound these days.
Ringing church bells past 9:30pm on a weekday is a noise disturbance.
A lovely church to visit. Norman style gothic built. 900 year's of history with a large collection of stained glass windows to look at. A new Organ has just been installed and the Oak wood facia surround has been wirewool ed , waxed and polished to a high standard.
