Just travelled 60 miles for a meting and found this little treasure trove for a breakfast. Good quality, quantity and for 3.99 with toast and coffee a bargain. Very friendly staff, great service. Off to my meeting now
Apart from organising a small mortgage to buy anything from Herds, I recently bought at my mother's insistence a Vanilla Slice and upon reaching home and attempting to eat it found the custard looked old, the pastry is supposed to be light and crispy and this was like leather, I would have gone back and complained but I decided to vote with my feet, last time I go there, overpriced and stale left overs seem to be served. It just isn't the same as it was many many years ago!...poor...go to Gregg's instead!!

The best sausage sandwich I have ever had. I travel all the way from Hale every weekend just for Peter Herds delicious food. The sausage rolls and sausage sandwiches are world class. Very friendly wonderful service. Always the highlight of my day going to Peter Herd!
